Festool Cordless TSC 55 KSEB-F Saw

How do you improve the cordless track saw already hailed as “Best Overall Cordless Track Saw”* - famous for precision cuts and ease of use? By making it more efficient, running it on a single battery and making sure that dust is even more contained.

The TSC 55 KS works with Festool's FS guide rails for straight, tearout-free cuts in sheet goods, plywood, and solid stock up to 2-1/8 in. thick - off the rail too, if you need a freehand cut. The new single-battery design means less weight on the saw, less fatigue over a full day of breaking down sheet goods, and (paired with the new TBX 8 Ah battery, sold separately) equal or better cutting performance than previous two-battery versions of the saw. The saw’s 1.6mm (1/16”) thin-kerf blade also cuts down on drag, giving you a faster cut and more cuts per battery charge.

The saw's cutting depth runs 0 to 2-1/8 in. (55mm), bevel from -1 degrees to 47 degrees, which covers everything from a flush trim to a compound-bevel cut without changing tools. KickbackStop, a sensor-based anti-kickback innovation, watches for blade bind and reacts almost instantly to arrest the motor if the saw starts to kick, then resets quickly enough that you're not standing around waiting to get back to work. A clear sight window keeps the blade visible in the cut for line-following.

The KSEB-F's dust management got a redesign as well: a new collapsible dust bag fold up beautiful when not in use and its lockable dust port keep material contained at the source. When you skip the bag and hook the saw to a Festool vac instead, Bluetooth auto-start fires the vacuum the instant you pull the trigger, so suction is already running before the blade touches the material. The TSC is optimized for BP 18 TBX 8 ASI Tabless battery and will also run on the 5.0Ah Li-HighPower battery. The saw is sold as a “Basic” without batteries and charger, which are sold separately.

Festool track saws including this one are compatible with Festool FS guide rail system, with tracks available in 32”, 42”, 55”, 75”, 95”, 106” and 118” lengths.
