Festool TS Track Saw Depth Position Indicator FS-EP

Depth Position Indicator helps you set an accurate plunge point (very challenging on shorter cutting depths) without making test plunges or hapless backward cuts. Just slide it into the groove of the FS guide rail from above and lock it in place - mounts to either side of the guide rail magnetically - set its scale to match your saw's depth setting, align it to your marked line, and you've got a precise, repeatable entry and exit point at any cutting depth.The indicator and shows exactly where the blade will enter and exit the material at your current cutting depth, including on cutouts made close to a wall where you can't see or reach the far end of the rail. It doubles as a cutting-width indicator for narrow rip work off the cut-off side of the rail.

The Depth Position Indicator & Clamp Accessory Kit for the TS/TSC55 (578697) conveniently bundles the depth position indicator for the TS/TSC55 with two FS-EZ 150 one-hand clamps in a single Systainer. The two FS-EZ 150 one-hand clamps let you lock the guide rail to the workpiece one-handed, freeing your other hand to hold material steady or make a final position adjustment before you commit to the cut. There's also room left in the Systainer to keep spare saw blades and FS rail connectors with the rest of your track saw kit, so the accessories that make the system work stay together instead of scattered across the shop.
