Beech 5061 Marking Gauge

These marking gauges are a faithful replica of the Stanley no 5061 Marking Gauge. Originally made in the UK in the late 70s and early 80s it was the last wooden marking gauge made by Stanley. It is also the only production gauge that with a diagonal pin that we am aware of. This style was a favorite of the late, great, David Charlesworth and a favorite of Paul Sellers. One special feature of this gauge like the original is that inside the square hole is a plastic "V" block that clamps the stem solidly in the square hole, without marring the stem
